IP Address Lookup

Get geolocation, ASN/ISP and reverse DNS for any IP address or domain.

Free • no sign-up • runs live in your browser.

What this tool shows

Enter an IP address or a domain (which is resolved to its IP first) to see its approximate geolocation, the ASN and ISP/organization that operates it, the timezone, and its reverse DNS (PTR) name. Useful for identifying where a server lives, who hosts it, and whether its reverse DNS is set correctly.

About IP geolocation accuracy

IP geolocation is approximate. It reflects the network operator's registration, not a precise street address, and VPNs/proxies/CDNs will show the provider's location rather than the end user's.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is IP geolocation?

Country-level accuracy is usually good; city-level is approximate and can be wrong, especially for mobile networks, VPNs and CDNs.

What is an ASN?

An Autonomous System Number identifies the network operator that announces an IP range — e.g. AS15169 is Google. It's the most reliable way to know who runs an IP.

Can I look up my own IP?

Yes — this tool resolves the IP behind any domain, and you can paste your own public IP to see what the internet sees about your connection.
